Forum Access Rights

This is a reference to the structure of our forums. Please make sure you are in the proper groups and can view all of the forums that you are supposed to. To view the groups you are enrolled in, click the Usergroups button on the top menu bar. Contact an Admin if you are not in the proper groups.


Forum Account -- The forum account is held by myself. I can add or remove Admins.

Admin -- Admins may change the appearance and settings of the forum and may view and edit all forums in any way they like. Admins should stick to their own guild's forums unless invited by another guild. If this is a problem, Admin rights will be removed.

Guild Leaders -- Guild Leaders may do almost all of the functions of Admins, including viewing and editing almost all forums. Because Admin also allows the ability to edit the forums, the Leaders who are inclined to do these things will also have Admins rights.

Guild Council -- Guild Council members may view and vote in the Leaders' forum in order to influence their guild's direction.

Moderators -- Do not use this group for now. Moderation rights are given to Leaders and Admins.

Guild Groups -- All members of a guild will have access to their own guild's private discussion forums and will have access to Alliance forums and the War Room.

Dawn Trial Members -- When joining the guild, new members are put on a temporary trial status and this group allows them to view the same forums as a guild member.

Guild Guests -- Guests of a guild may view that guild's private forum and may view the Alliance chit-chat forum and pics forums, but may not view guild or alliance sensitive forums such as Leaders forums or the War Room.
